SafeBoda's mission is to empower communities to thrive. We believe that everyone in African cities should have access to affordable services at a click of a button. We are a venture-backed start-up, currently based in Uganda and Nigeria, and we aim to become Africa's super app.
Our Drivers Community
Our community of SafeBoda drivers receive extensive training to make them the safest and most professional drivers on the streets. When drivers join the SafeBoda community, they see a significant increase in their business, providing impact to themselves, their family and the wider community

We started as a small community of boda drivers and we never forget this. We share lunch together, and we care about our community of staff, drivers, entrepreneurs and customers.

We are open minded in what we do. We have candour and share our experiences openly, without fear of judgement. We love feedback on our product and our own personal performance, so that we can improve everyday.

Collective Commitment
Teams and entrepreneurs are allowed to disagree while a decision is being made. However, once a decision has been made, everybody must commit to it. “I agree and I commit, I disagree and I commit”.

We are a venture funded company, including backers such as Go-Ventures (GoJek), Allianz X and Unbound, that is already having a huge impact on millions of people in East and West Africa.
